Description:
This machine is the latest model from ResMed in the S8 series. Featuring Easy-Breathe technology, the ResMed expiratory pressure reduction system, it works similar to a BiPAP machine in that the exhalation pressure is reduced for easier breathing. The ResMed S8 includes a data card with very detailed data reports that can store 365 days of summary data and 5 nights of detailed data.

This machine is easy to travel with due to its compact size and ability to run off of battery power with an adapter. The ResMed S8 unit also has smart start and an alarm if breathing stops and doesn’t resume within an acceptable period of time. The humidifier option is extra.

Most reviewers appreciated the quiet, ease of use, small size and Easy-Breathe technology of this new machine from ResMed.

“I first tried this machine when my Remstar had to go in for warranty work and this was a loaner. I loved it then for it is so quiet, easy to use, compact, and worked great.”

“I have now used my AutoSet II since July of 09. I can assure you that it will provide you the best night’s sleep you have had “in a very long time”.

“I’ve been using this machine for a couple of months now and it is wonderful! I’m in my fourth year of CPAP therapy and have used three other machines prior to this one and I can say that the RESMED is quieter than any of the others. The Eazy-Breathe technology really works and the machine seems very well built.”

Machine purchase includes: CPAP machine, one hose, carrying case, one disposable filter, user manual, data scan card and power cord.
