Description:
The Respironics PR System One REMstar Plus replaces the M Series machines, which have been discontinued. This new CPAP unit is small, quiet and easy to use. Currently only professional level software for sleep data is available although Respironics is working on fixing that issue so that patients can see if there were problems or leakages through the night. This CPAP machine has automatically adjusting pressure and an LCD readout screen that is very dim for night sleeping comfort.
Most reviewers appreciate the relative quiet of this machine, ease of set-up and use, small size and C-Flex technology of this new machine from Remstar. Some were disappointed with the lack of software and that the data display is only 7 day/30 day averages and doesn’t indicate any mask leakage or other problems. Some reviewers also noticed misting issues, causing their mask to have condensation on the inside.
“I am very pleased with my unit. It is so quiet that my wife must stop and listen closely to see if it is working. I like the ramping option and am always asleep before it increases the pressure to the prescribed level. I am sleeping better than I ever thought I would. The unit is small and does not take up much more space than my alarm clock.”
“Much quieter that my previous unit.”
Machine purchase includes: PR Auto CPAP, carrying case, 6 foot tube, power supply and cord, two reusable foam filters, user manual, SD memory card.
